David ‘The Admiral’ Robinson was one of the best centers in the NBA during the 1990s. Correlate that the Spurs became a dynasty when Gregg Popovich took over the team and was able to select Tim Duncan as the No. 1 overall pick in the 1997 NBA Draft. Previously, the Spurs had won 20 games. But they were a 56-win team in Duncan’s first season alongside Robinson. Still, Robinson was with the team when it won its second title in 2003, but he had been surpassed by youngsters Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker.
