The Colorado Rockies are quickly developing a reputation of being a late season team that gets very dangerous towards the end of the MLB odds regular season. And indeed, if there was any team that deserved the moniker of “Mr. October” than you probably give it to the Rockies.

The Dodgers (72-74) are an attractive opponent in this Friday night MLB odds matchup as this team seems to have all but given up the season, with its playoff hopes in the toilet, the final month of the season is little more than fall tryouts for its farm-league players.
Yet you can be sure that the Dodgers would love nothing more than to play spoiler to Rockies MLB postseason plans and repay the favor for having been eliminate by the Rockies in years past.
On paper the Rockies definitely have the advantage in this matchup. They’ll start ace Ubaldo Jimenez (18-6, 2.75 ERA) is currently the front runner in the NL Cy Young competition and has been lights out all year long. Still, he’s had his weak moments and he’s 0-4 in his last four starts.
Road games are the Rockies principal weakness this season as team has just a 29-42 record outside of Coors Field.
The Dodgers will start Hiroki Kuroda (10-12, 3.32 ERA) and will likely win this MLB odds matchup as the Rockies have yet to prove they can win consistently on the road.
