Unless the Atlanta Braves win at home on Monday night in MLB betting it will be the end of manager Bobby Cox’s career. The long-time Braves skipper is retiring after this season and that retirement could come on Monday unless the Braves win. The San Francisco Giants lead the NLDS 2-1 and would advance to the NLCS for the first time since 2002 with a baseball betting win in Atlanta on Monday.

Madison Bumgarner vs. Derek Lowe – The Giants and Braves have both struggled to score runs so this figures to be another low scoring game. Bumgarner gets the start for the Giants while Lowe comes back on three day’s rest for the Braves. The Braves have hit just.165 in the three games and they had just four hits on Sunday. Lowe went 5 1/3 innings in Game 1 and allowed on run, four hits and four walks while striking out six. He has pitched on three day’s rest or less four times in the playoffs in his career and is 1-1 with a 3.28 ERA. Lowe was 10-5 with a 3.72 ERA at home this season. Bumgarner has not pitched since September 30th. This will be his first-ever start against the Braves.
History is Against Atlanta – Only one of the last 16 teams to trail 2-1 in the NLDS have come back to win the series. Even if the Braves get past this game on Monday in MLB betting they would have to beat Tim Lincecum back in San Francisco in Game 5. But first they need to win Game 4 and that does not figure to be easy.
