Since their epic 1988 World Series title, the Los Angeles Dodgers did not win another in a full season until last year. Los Angeles Dodgers
Indeed, the Dodgers are basking in the warm glow of their World Series win. And they’ve brought in Blake Snell, Hyeseong Kim, and Michael Conforto. San Diego Padres
Last year, the Padres were this close to taking out the Dodgers in the playoffs. But their response to that near-miss has been too quiet in the eyes of fans and gamblers. To illuminate, they haven’t added anyone of note. Also, there remain rumors that Dylan Cease may be on the trading block. This has been a glorious era for the Padres. But you can forgive their fans for wondering if it’s going to be built upon. For all of its efforts, San Diego continues to fall short.
