Colorado Rockies

Colorado showed incredible fortitude in their 13 inning 2-1 win at the Chicago Cubs.  Consider the day prior they blew the NL West Division at Los Angeles.  Starting pitching is a strength of Colorado for baseball betting games.  For example, the Rockies rank third in MLB for quality starts.  Colorado also ranks seventh for run production.  Balanced against that is a bullpen that ranks 26th.  Nolan Arenado clobbered 38 home runs this year for the Rockies.  And Trevor Story added 37 round trippers.

Milwaukee Brewers

Milwaukee also defeated the Cubs at Chicago in a one game playoff to clinch the NL Central.  Counter to Colorado the Brewers rank 26th for quality starts.  But their bullpen ranks fifth in MLB.  Account of Christian Yelch comes much of Milwaukee’s success.  Yelch hit .326 with 36 home runs.  Jesus Aguilar added 35 home runs.  Milwaukee finished fourth for home runs this season.

Los Angeles Dodgers

Although the Dodgers finished 92-71 they were a massive sportsbook loser.  Fashion LA’s status as one of the biggest overlays on the board.  In fact, this extends back to September of 2017.  Since then the Dodgers have been among the worst values that can be found.  Additionally, they are trying to atone for their World Series loss to Houston last year.  To begin with the Dodgers are one of the most balanced teams in baseball.  To illustrate LA ranks fifth for run production and second for staff ERA.  Max Muncy powered to 35 home runs to lead Los Angeles.

Stats to Consider

Commencing with this season Atlanta has seen their rebuilding project finally pay off.  At the beginning of the season nobody was picking the Braves for a playoff spot.  However, Atlanta’s balance as team carried them to the NL East title.  Furthermore, the Braves status as an underdog made them extremely valuable for wagering.  To be exact Atlanta was one of the most profitable teams on the board this season.  In like manner the Braves finished ninth for run production and seventh for staff ERA.  Freddie Freeman led Atlanta with 23 home runs, 98 RBI and a .309 average.

Matchup to Watch

Atlanta has consistently provided strong value for baseball betting games.  Contrarily the Dodgers have gushed red ink.  Meanwhile Colorado and Milwaukee were highly profitable.  The baseball playoffs have become a crap shoot in recent years.  Concurrently that’s what makes them so great.  And why chalk can be deadly to your bankroll.

NLDS Betting Odds Picks

On the whole the smart money is on underdogs in the playoffs, especially game by game.
