Baseball Betting on Braves vs. Reds Handicapping the Game. Atlanta and Cincinnati wrap up a long four game series tonight at the Great American Ballpark in Cincy with the first pitch scheduled for 7:10ET. It has been an exceptionally long set of games through the first three for Atlanta, dropping all of them.

Cincinnati, returning home after a successful stint in the Big Apple last week versus the Mets and Yankees have continued the momentum in Ohio and have won five in a row. The series opener on Monday saw the Reds pitcher Mike Leake not only pitch eight solid innings, but help his own cause with a home run in the 4-1 Baseball Betting victory.

On Tuesday, Cincy once again scored four runs with three of them compliments off the bat of Brandon Phillips, who hit two round trippers with the three RBI’s. Rookie Zack Cozart’s homer accounted for the fourth run off of reliable Braves starter Brandon Beachy. The game two final was 4-3. Start your Baseball Betting action on Braves vs. Reds game.

Then last night, the Reds were held to just two runs, but that’s all they needed after Todd Fraziers walk off homer in the bottom of the ninth gave them a 2-1 triumph.

Frazier was met at home with a face full of shaving cream, which was quickly cleaned off by the dumping of water atop his head, courtesy of a water cooler from the home dugout. The Reds are obviously enjoying their five game winnning streak.

The win keeps Cincinnati within a half game of the NL Central leading Cardinals who have won their last three. The teams are, however, tied in the all important loss column. The Reds are 24-19 for the year and 12-8 at home.

Atlanta has fallen a half game behind the surprising Washington Nationals but are trailing by a full game in the “L” column. They are 26-19 and even with losing the last three at Great American, maintain a respectable road mark of 16-12.

Tonight’s mound matchup wil be right hander Homer Bailey(2-3,4.34ERA) for the Reds versus another righty, Randall Delgado(2-4,4.26ERA) for the Braves.  Check the Sportsbook Odds for Braves vs. Reds game.

Cincinnati is favored to get the broom out at home tonight as the favorite at -$118, while the Braves are at +$108 for tonight’s contest. The over/under is set at 9 total runs on a $120/$100 moneyline.
