Iavarone knows that age means nothing when it comes to Kentucky Derby odds. “I think (age) 19 or 46, when they get in the starting gate it’s an equal playing field. They talk about experience and everything else, but I don’t know what this kid is going to see on Saturday that he hasn’t seen already with this horse.”
