Ginn sur Mer Classic Golf Betting at SBG Global

November 30th, 2010 Golf Betting

Golf betting this week moves to the Conservatory in Palm Coast, Florida for the Ginn sur Mer Classic.

You can make your golf bet before play begins on Thursday in this PGA Tour event that concludes on Sunday. The defending champion is Daniel Chopra who won for the first time in PGA golf betting when he beat Fredrik Jacobsen and Shigeki Maruyama in last year’s event.

Golf betting for the PGA Tour schedule this season has just this week and next week’s event left. A lot will be on the line for the players as spots on the money list are still up for grabs. The highest ranking player in this year’s golf betting field is Robert Allenby who is ranked #30 in the world.  Former Masters Champ Zach Johnson is also a part of the golf betting field this week. A couple other players of note in the golf betting field are Charles Howell and Tim Clark.  Howell is starting to play well again and could be a solid choice for your golf bet this week.

A number of players in the golf betting field need a good showing this week or they could be headed to qualifying school. Players like Jason Day, Mark Hensby, Matt Jones and others need to have success this week.

The player in the golf betting field right on the edge is Patrick Sheehan, who sits at #125 on the list. He is in the golf betting field this week, as are players right behind him. Vaughn Taylor, Jeff Overton, Martin Laird and Jay Williamson will look to crack the top 125 as they play in this week’s golf betting field.

The favorite in golf betting this week is Allenby at 11-1. Johnson is next at 16-1 followed by Sean O’Hair at 18-1. All of the other players you can consider for a golf bet have odds of 20-1 or higher.

You can watch your golf bet in action all weekend on The Golf Channel as they have all of the television coverage of the Ginn sur Mer Classic.
