Buick Open Golf Odds layout at SBG Global

November 30th, 2010 Golf Betting

The Buick Open has been calling the Warwick Hills Country Club outside of Flint, Michigan its home for 30 years.

The Warwick course is a unique course and one that present a huge challenge to the golf betting odds competitors that lack distance off the tee-blocks. It is one of the longest golf odds layouts in the PGA Tour and big drives are a requisite if you want to claim the golf betting odds title here.

Few courses if any play longer than the Buick Open at over nearly 7,200 feet; it is plenty intimidating for even the biggest drivers in golf odds betting. And it should come as little surprise that names like Tiger Woods and Vijay Singh have dominated the golf odds winners list here in recent years. For players that can navigate the distance the other hazards play less of a role than at other top golf betting odds tournaments and low scores can be had.

Many of the holes are reachable in two for big hitters and present many opportunities for birdie for those golf odds players that have the stick to get there. But one hole that rarely plays in two; even for the biggest hitters in the golf betting odds is the Par 5 seventh hole. At 584 yards this the longest hole in the golf odds layout. Anything hit to the right will prevent the player from beating the golf odds and getting on in two with its dog-leg. A drive down the left must avoid bunkers in order to give the player a chance a reaching the golf odds green in two. But even if the player has the distance to get here it’s all but impossible to get a ball to stick from that range on this crowned green, one of the trickier challenges in this golf odds layout.

Another Warwick Hills classic is the par-4 fifteenth hole witch tests golf odds players abilities with 457 yards of torture. This is actually one of the hardest holes in all PGA golf odds competition and par is a very good score.  The left side is closed off to golf odds competitors by OB and trees. The right side plays longer and the green is as well protected as you’ll find in golf odds. Anything long will disappear down a steep slope and leave par a distant memory for most golf odds competitors.
