Scheffler has finished in the Top 10 in eight of his most recent 11 events. Scheffler has ranked #1 on the OWGR since Week 20 of 2023, when he placed 2nd at the US PGA Championship.
Rory McIlroy
Second on the Official World Golf Ranking is Rory McIlroy. Since Week 28 of 2023, McIlroy has ranked 2nd on the OWGR. McIlroy has been in a recent slump, with five consecutive finishes of 19th place or worse. Previously, he won the Hero Dubai Desert Classic in Week 3.
