Scottie Scheffler Remains on Top of the World

First on the Official World Golf Ranking is Scottie Scheffler. Since winning the US PGA Championship, Scheffler has been the top-ranked sports betting golfer. Viktor Hovland is 4th on the Official World Golf Ranking. Since the 2023 US PGA Championship, Viktor Hovland has been in the top ten of the OWGR and climbing. Hovland has notable recent wins at The Memorial, the Tour Championship, and the BMW Championship. However, he has finished outside the top 10 in his last two events. That followed five consecutive top-10 finishes.

Xander Schauffele Sends Mixed Messages

Fifth on the Official World Golf Ranking is Xander Schauffele. In like manner to other top players, Schauffele has been up and down. Schauffele finished 54th at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Previously, he finished in the top 10 in three consecutive events. Since the Genesis Scottish Open, Schauffele won the Tour Championship and has been in the top 10 of the OWGR.

Wyndham Clark Breaks Out

10th on the Official World Golf Ranking is Wyndham Clark. Late on, Clark won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. That win snapped an ugly streak of three consecutive finished 19th or worse in five consecutive events. Ten of his 11 events before the win at Pebble Beach were finishes of 15th or worse.

Patrick Cantlay

Late on, Patrick Cantlay has failed to finish in the top 10. Only two of his most recent seven events were top-six finishes. He is 6th on the Official World Golf Ranking.
