2022 Genesis Invitational Overview
First known as the Los Angeles Open, the Genesis Invitational was founded in 1926. Since 1973 this event has been held at Riviera Country Club. Genesis Motors, the luxury division of Hyundai Motor Group, took over sponsorship in 2017.
Last year Max Homa was the sportsbook winner of the Genesis Invitational. Adam Scott won for the second time at this event in 2020. While JB Holmes was the 2019 champion. Bubba Watson is a 3-time Genesis Open champion. His most recent win at this event was in 2018.
