November 18th, 2019 Golf Betting

This coming Thursday the 21st of January 2016 the Golf World will bring us the 2016 Career Builders Challenge to be played from the TPC Stadium Course in La Quinta, California and the tournament starts on Thursday and goes through Sunday the 24th of January 2016. The total purse for this tournament is some $5,800,000 with the winner taking $1,044,000 and with 500 FedExCup Points awarded for the win.

If you Bet on Golf at an Offshore sportsbook, this golf tournament was formerly known as the Bob Hope Classic and then the Humana Challenge and now the Career Builders Challenge and should bring golf fans a lot of action and excitement.

Presently the frontrunners for this tournament are said to be P. Reed and M. Kuchar, but golf fans are aware that the PGA Tournaments are always full of surprises, and in this tournament there are some 3 players that are not top picks that could easily leave this valley in California with the Trophy of Bob Hope.

So let us take a look at those that have the ability to win Career Builders starting with J. Bohn a golf player that many people don’t know, but now is the time for him to become recognized as an upcoming star in the PGA Tournaments.

His season in 2015 did not go as he expected as he was unable to win a tournament in 2015 and finished in the top 10 on just 3 occasions. Also, in this tournament previously as in his ultimate 3 of his 4 times he played at this Course finished 2 time at 30th and 1 time and 33rd at La Quinta. Bohn of Pennsylvania however in this 2016 season he has improved drastically as he has finished in the top 10 some 3 times, whereas in the complete 2015 season he only made half that mark. Currently he stands in the FedEx rankings at 10th, and we can expect that he will seek to improve his rankings or at least maintain his present ranking in his play for this tournament and continue being considered a top 10 golfer.

Another player that could come out of the dark is C. Hoffman and he had his last time to finish in the top 10 was in September 2014 at the Championship for the Deutsche Bank and remember at this Tournament over the ultimate 3 years he finished in the top 10. In last season’s event he tied for 2nd place. A golf veteran and 39 years old that 2nd place finish was the best finish of his golfing career. Thus, in 2013 he finished at 10th then in 2014 at 9th and last year 2015 the tie for 2nd place thus improving from year to year.

Now his goal is to continue going to the top and winning this event and fans should watch him closely. He’s a player with an incredible swing, and with that he ranks 5th on the season’s PGA tour averaging some 304 yards per drive, and don’t be surprised if he wins this tournament.

Last but not least is B. Steele whose career is difficult to evaluate, as in one case he has had 2 top 20 finishes in four tournaments this season, and that included the CIMB Classic in which he tied for 3rd place. Then in his two other tournaments during this season, he did not make the cut for continuing to the 2nd round.

But remember at this event last season he along with 5 other players finished with the same score for 2nd place in the tournament. In addition after this tournament last season, he has 8 finishes in the top 15. What’s not know at present is which side of B. Steele will be ready to participate in this tournament, and thus he appears to be a good pick for a wild card wager.
