Five-time champion Brazil is one of the main favorites in World Cup betting along with Spain. Both teams are listed with World Cup odds of about 4-1. Brazil is in Group G along with Portugal, Ivory Coast and Korea. It is not an easy group but Brazil is expected to win. World Cup betting odds list Brazil as a -130 favorite to win Group G. Portugal and Ivory Coast are the second choices to win that group at 3-1 while Korea is given no chance at 85-1. Brazil is almost always right there when it comes to the World Cup final. In the past four World Cups they have reached the final three times and won it all twice. They were eliminated four years ago in the quarterfinals by France.

A team that has won the World Cup five times really doesn’t go under the radar and a former player of the year shouldn’t go under the radar either but Kaka is not getting nearly the attention that Argentina’s Lionel Messi is getting. It has been a great year for Messi and all of the pressure is on him to have a great World Cup. Kaka could be in a very good position with less pressure for Brazil. Kaka is also well rested since Real Madrid did not make the quarterfinals of the Champions League. When Kaka is playing well Brazil is almost unbeatable. When he is off his game the Brazilians can lose. It doesn’t seem likely that Kaka will be off his game in this year’s World Cup and that makes Brazil a definite threat to win it all in World Cup betting.
