Soccer Betting MLS Playoffs

ico MLS Eastern Conference Championship

The top team heading into the MLS playoffs is D.C. United. Soccer betting odds look favorable for the fans of this team. They finished with a record of 16-7-7 for a total of 55 points. The key for United will be getting goalkeeper Troy Perkins to play well, as oftentimes he is inconsistent. Keep in mind that Golden Boot winner Luciano Emilio did injure his ankle this past weekend. But this won’t stop soccer betting from taking over.

The next team to watch is Chivas USA, also a team with positive soccer betting odds going for them. They finished at 15-7-8 with a total of 53 points. Brad Guzan is the best goalkeeper in the world in the playoffs and Chivas is unstoppable at home, one more reason to start the soccer beating for this team. Injuries are a key for Chivas as well with Ante Razov probably out of the tourhnament and Maykel Galindo hurting.

Houston finished at 15-8-7 for 52 points. The Dynamo allowed a league low 23 goals and goalkeeper Pat Onstad was superb. The Dynamo has also had injuries but Brad Davis and Stuart Holden are back. Ricardo Clark is suspended so that will not help their cause. Soccer betting can be low for Houston if fans don’t start rooting for their team so it gets inspired to win!

New England finished at 14-8-8 with 50 points. The Revolution has the league’s best defender in Michael Parkhurst and Shalrie Joseph is excellent, so keep that soccer betting up for this team, you won’t go wrong. The only problem for New England is that they are not playing well entering the playoffs. Furthermore, soccer betting odds here can vary quite a bit.

How about some soccer betting for FC Dallas? They finished at 13-12-5 with 44 points. Kenny Cooper and Carlos Ruiz look better of late but the team is young and inexperienced for the most part. The other problem for FC Dallas is that they don’t match up well at all with Houston going 1-5-2 in the last eight games. The soccer betting odds may not look so good for them if they don’t pick up their game.

New York finished 12-11-7 for a total of 43 points. New York can score with Juan Pablo Angel but can’t stop anyone on defense; this won’t bring about much soccer betting for them.  Dane Richards might win rookie of the year. The problem for New York is they have no goalkeeper they can trust.

Chicago soccer betting fans are also excited as they finished 10-10-10 for a total of 40 points. Cuauhtemoc Blanco is superb and he can sometimes win games by himself. He may have to do it all if the Fire is to advance in the playoffs. Bring some soccer betting for this promising team!

And Kansas City fans will keep that soccer betting coming since they finished at 11-12-7 for a total of 40 points. Scott Sealy and Jimmy Conrad are good but the defense is weak. Eddie Johnson has done nothing of late and without him they can’t win in the playoffs. They better pick up their game, or the soccer betting for them won’t be as good as they want it to be.
