Is Real Madrid the Best Soccer Betting Team in Europe?

Soccer betting fans have seen some major deals signed over the summer and transfers involving some of the biggest names in the soccer betting odds.

Any soccer betting discussion on transfers in the summer of 2009 begins and ends with Real Madrid. Los Galacticos are at it again and anyone that has even been marginally following soccer betting news in the past few months has surely heard of the blockbuster moves that the team pulled off.

Soccer betting aficionados in Europe are well accustomed to the Spanish giant dealing out buckets of cash for big name superstars. However, this approach hasn’t always been successful and the soccer betting jury is still out as to whether or not the expensive moves will pay dividends in the soccer betting odds or not. It was only a few years ago where the star studded line up of transfer mercenaries consisting of Figo, Beckham, Zidane, etc. failed to win any soccer betting trophies.

However, the newest class of mercenaries is arguably the most impressive ever. To sign the two most recent FIFA world players of the year in the same soccer betting off season is something that no club has ever done. The club will be instantly better, of that there is no doubt, but the real question is whether or not this is now the best team in the European soccer betting odds?

Cristiano Ronaldo should thrive in the more finesse oriented Primera Liga. He was excellent in more brutish EPL but his skill set seems to fit in better with the style of the Spanish soccer betting league. Kaka should also make an immediate impact and see his scoring improve after leaving the more technical and defensive oriented style of play in the Serie A.

It’s also not as if Real Madrid was struggling before the arrival of the soccer betting superstars. The team finished behind only European champion Barça in the domestic soccer betting odds standings and made a deep run in the Champions league tournament. If the team stays healthy the addition of these two players automatically places in the discussion of the best teams on the continent.

But as soccer betting fans have seen before, signing multiple superstars doesn’t always guarantee soccer betting success. Most recently Chelsea has seen this tactic yield mixed results. Madrid has been reaped little from this strategy in years past. However, no team has ever signed two players with such talent in the same soccer betting season and their skills should fit in perfectly with the current roster.

It should be a very exciting year for the Galacticos.
