Chelsea Defeated LA Galaxy on Soccer Betting

In a soccer betting game where the score and perhaps the game itself were quite secondary, the visiting Chelsea Blues defeated the LA Galaxy in their own backyard in an exhibition match:  0-1.

But the soccer betting score mattered little as 99% of the people attending the soccer betting game and those watching at home had little actual interest in the soccer betting game.  Instead of checking on the soccer betting odds, they were there to get a glimpse of the world’s most famous athlete in his debut for the MLS squad.

And typical of most events in LA, it was over hyped, didn’t live up the billing and was all about making the scene.  In the end, Beckham played only a few minutes and looked awful.  He was obviously not 100% and skipped around his injured ankle very gingerly throughout the soccer betting match and looked as though he might have aggravated the injury on a very rough tackle late in the soccer betting game.

The soccer betting game was already won before Beckham entered the game for the final 12 minutes of the game.  A huge strike by Chelsea captain John Terry sealed the deal in the second half.  He drilled a ball into the side of the net from inside the box.  Teammate Joe Cole let off a cracking shot from the top of the area that make it through but the rebound knocked around in front of the goal and Terry knocked in screamer from close range the keeper had little chance of getting to.  Just minutes later in this soccer betting game, the Galaxy wasted a perfect opportunity to tie when a beautiful cross by Landon Donovan was headed just over the cross bar from several feet out.

The Galaxy kept up the pressure on the counter attack as Chelsea rotated players to younger subs, some playing time and brought in more defensive minded players.  But by the time Beckham got in, the soccer betting game had deteriorated into rubbish.  The Galaxy midfielder started the soccer betting game off with a very nice long ball to a teammate down the right side that amounted to nothing.  And after that he had few touches on the ball.  But the soccer betting odds followers loved it, and if the team can maintain the interest it could be huge for the MLS soccer betting league and soccer betting odds fans.
