Although the Tour de France is the marquee event of cycling odds betting, it is far from the only show in town. In recent years, betting traffic on cycling events has increased significantly. 2025 Giro d’Italia Recap
The 2025 Giro d’Italia general classification (GC) was won by Great Britain’s Simon Yates (Team Visma–Lease a Bike), who secured the victory on the penultimate stage with a decisive attack on the Colle delle Finestre. The race, which began in Albania for the first time, was characterized by exciting, unpredictable action. Accordingly, there were numerous breakaway stage wins and key GC twists.
Correlate that Yates launched a massive attack on the steep slopes of Colle delle Finestre, overturning a deficit to Isaac Del Toro and Richard Carapaz. He was supported by satellite rider Wout van Aert on the descent, eventually beating his rivals by over five minutes.

2025 Tour de France Recap
Namely, Tadej Pogačar claimed his fourth Tour de France title, cementing his status as the most dominant rider of his generation. He joined Britain’s Chris Froome on the all-time winners’ list.
Previously, the 26-year-old Slovenian triumphed in 2020, 2021, and 2024, delivering a near-flawless performance over three weeks. He excelled in every department, even coming close to prevailing on a spectacular final stage on the Champs-Élysées after an epic duel with Belgian Wout van Aert.
Pogačar did not need to contest the stage win, especially given the danger of crashing on slick roads. Yet as the rain fell heavily, he showed his relentless thirst for victory and attacked anyway, setting a tremendous pace in the Montmartre climbs as fans cheered.
Only five riders were left with Pogačar on the third ascension of the 1.1-kilometer Montmartre hill, with Van Aert winning the 21st stage.
Two-time Tour champion Jonas Vingegaard finished the overall race 4 minutes, 24 seconds behind Pogačar in second place, and Florian Lipowitz, making his Tour debut, was 11 minutes back in third. It was the fifth straight year where Pogačar and Vingegaard finished 1-2 at the Tour.
