Baffert’s success and ego have made him a lot of enemies. Accordingly, there are charges that he’s been a cheater for his entire career. Regardless, Baffert has a cloud over him for the rest of his time as a trainer.
Late on, Medina Spirit has won his last two starts. First was a win in the Shared Belief Stakes at Del Mar. Following that was a win in the Grade-1 Awesome Again from Santa Anita.
