2009 Breeders Cup Wagering Longshots

November 30th, 2010 Breeders Cup Betting

Breeders Cup wagering is one of the most exciting times of the year for those that bet horses.

Longshots have a real chance to win in Breeders Cup betting. Here are a few that could pay well on Friday and Saturday.

Breeders Cup wagering on Friday has six races and there are a few horses that could surprise. Cloudy’s Knight is 8-1 in the Marathon and has a real chance to win in Breeders Cup betting. The Juvenile Fillies Turf is the second race on Friday and is wide open. Hatheer could be a great Breeders Cup wagering choice at 10-1. She has been favored in her last three starts but is coming off a loss. The Juvenile Fillies is next and there is a real longshot on the rail in Zilva who is 30-1 in Breeders Cup wagering. She should not be overlooked even with her big odds. The Filly & Mare Turf is a real longshot race as a horse like Rutherienne at 8-1 has a real chance as does Maram at 15-1 in Breeders Cup wagering. There is not really a good longshot in the Filly & Mare Sprint since the favored Ventura looks tough. The Ladies’ Classic is the last Breeders Cup wagering race on Friday and is full of intriguing longshots. Rainbow View is 6-1, Cocoa Beach is 8-1 and Mushka is 12-1. Muska gets Kent Desormeaux in the irons and could win at Breeders Cup betting odds of 12-1.

The Juvenile Turf gets Breeders Cup wagering underway on Saturday. The two kittens are interesting at 12-1. Kera’s Kitten and Becky’s Kitten are capable longshots at 12-1 in Breeders Cup betting. The Turf Sprint has Get Funky at 20-1. He could steal this wide open race. The Sprint has Zensational at 7-5 and that horse looks tough. The Juvenile has an interesting longshot in Pulsion. He has Mike Smith in the Irons and is a great value at 20-1. The Mile has Goldikova as a big Breeders Cup wagering favorite but Whatsthescript is a horse with a chance at a price. He is 15-1 and last year finished third in this race. The Dirt Mile has a number of interesting longshots including Pyro who is 10-1 in Breeders Cup wagering. Presious Passion is 4-1 in the Turf and not a huge longshot but the horse could win as the third Breeders Cup wagering choice. The Classic has a very live longshot in Mine That Bird. The horse is 12-1 in Breeders Cup wagering, is a nice close and has the rail with Calvin Borel. Does that sound familiar to the Kentucky Derby?
