Last time out for Manny Pacquiao was on January 19, 2019 against Adrien Broner.  Pacquiao scored a 12 round unanimous decision win at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.  The bout was for the World Boxing Association World Welterweight title.  Prior to that Pacquiao faced Lucas Martin Matthysse on July 15, 2018.  Likewise, he scored a seventh-round technical knockout win at Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur.  As a result of the two wins Pacquiao has recovered from the 12 round unanimous decision loss to Horn.  That fight was for the Word Boxing Organization world welterweight title.

Thurman Rolls Along

Correspondingly Keith Thurman last stepped into the ring on January 26, 2019 against Josesito Lopez.  The fight was for the World Boxing Association Super World welterweight title.  Thurman scored a 12-round majority decision betting Odds for Boxing win.  The bout took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.  Previously Thurman met up with Danny Garcia on March 4, 2017.  That fight was also at the Barclays Center.  Thurman posted a 12 round split decision win.  In sum Thurman won a unification title for the welterweight division.
