Xfinity Regulars Hit Betting on NASCAR Road at Mid-Ohio on Saturday

Rock N Roll Tequila 170 from Mid-Ohio Nascar Betting

A distinct Xfinity Series factor is when NASCAR Cup drivers cross over to the junior circuit.  Namely the top series drivers dominate Xfinity Series races they compete in.  For example, Cup contender Joey Logano was the betting on NASCAR Winner last week at Watkins Glen.  Encompassing is that it was the 11th Xfinity win for crossover drivers this year.  However, this week the Cup drivers will be focused on Michigan.  Consequently, Saturday’s road course race at Mid-Ohio will be pure Xfinity racers.  Even so the lack of an oval makes the event a wild card handicap.

Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course

Now the Rock N Roll Tequila 170 has been run under various names since 2013.  Sam Hornish Jr was the betting on NASCAR winner last year.  At the onset this will be a three-stage race.  Likewise stages one and two will be comprised of 20 laps.  While the third stage will be 35 laps.  Specifically, the race will total almost 170 miles.  Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course was opened in 1962.  Including open seating it can accommodate 75,000 fans.

Christopher Bell

Another online betting factor is the unpredictable road course factor.  To show is rookie Christopher Bell.  Granted, Bell leads the Xfinity Series standings.  He was riding a three-race winning streak heading into Watkins Glen last Saturday.  Yet on that road course Bell ended up with a ninth-place finish.  Nevertheless, many fans will consider that finish a success.  Consider that there were five Cup Series crossover drivers in the race.  What’s more Bell doesn’t have a lot of road course experience.  Concurrently he may be one of the better values on the board Saturday.

Bell on the Spotlight

Likewise, Bell is being touted for a Cup Series promotion. In contrast to most Xfinity drivers the rookie has set himself apart.  A clear difference is that Bell races to win.  Conversely many other Xfinity drivers use the consistency model.  Alternatively, they strive for top ten finishes instead of wins.  On the other hand, Bell has taken four checkered flags on the season.  Therefore, Joe Gibbs racing and Toyota are thinking of expanding their Cup teams.  To sum up they don’t want to lose Bell to another Cup team or manufacturer.  Certainly, Bell is a driver in demand.

Other Names to Consider

To show, Cole Custer, Daniel Hemric, and Elliot Sadler trail Bell in the standings. Yet none of them have won a single Xfinity Series race all season.  Owing to their success is pure consistency.  The outcome for them is not about wins.  On the whole this trio simply wants to contend and finish races.

Justin Allgaier

Justin Allgaier is fifth in the Xfinity Series standings.  For one thing he has posted two wins on the season.  Additionally, he has eight consecutive top nine or better finishes.

Matchup to Watch

Regardless of the road course wild card no driver has a betting on NASCAR advantage.  Xfinity drivers simply don’t run these types of tracks enough.  At the same time that enhances Bell’s chances.  As was previously stated he showed well last week at Watkins Glen.
