Former NASCAR Cup Champion Rusty Wallace called the Richmond Raceway the most perfect track on the circuit. Opened in 1946 it has gone through many improvements since then. Denny Hamlin is another driver to watch at Richmond. With 23 career starts he has compiled three wins and 14 top ten finishes. Third best among active drivers is an average finish of 9.57. Currently eighth in the standings Hamlin has finished sixth or better four times this year.
Joey Logano
Joey Logano has finished ninth or better in seven out of eight races this year. He is yet to win but second in the standings. Logano has won two races in 18 career starts at Richmond. His career average finish there is 11.89.
Clint Bowyer
Clint Bowyer could be a strong online sportsbook pick at Richmond. Fourth in the standings he has one win this year (Martinsville). Bowyer has 23 career starts at Richmond with an average finish of 13.33. Twice he has taken the checkers there.
