However, good drivers drive well on any track as the race’s defending champ and NASCAR three-time defending driver of the year Jimmie Johnson has demonstrated time and time again. Johnson won the NASCAR betting odds here in 2008 and should be one of the favorites going the NASCAR competition again this year. His teammate and current NASCAR betting points leader, Jeff Gordon, took the checkered flag in 2007 and also has to be considered one of the top picks to take home the win again this year.

As always, Matt Kensenth and Kyle Busch should be among the top drivers and Carl Edwards, still looking for his first win of the NASCAR betting season will be a contender as usual. Tony Stewart would also love to get a win for his new team and look for Dale Jr. to finally have a good race and maybe even end his NASCAR winless drought.
