Kentucky is known for many things but not many people automatically associate the Blue Grass state with Indy car betting.

And it’s a shame considering that some of the best bet on Indy car opportunities can be found here. The top Indy car betting event in the state is of course the Meijer Indy 300 held at the Kentucky Speedway, one of the most exciting venues in bet on Indy car action.

Many racing fans often think of Kentucky and automatically think of NASCAR wagering, but the fact remains that Indy car betting also has a large presence in the state as well. This 1.5 mile tri-oval is one of the real gems in the racing world and a unique oddity of the Indy car betting world.  Fans that like to bet on Indy car competition this event is not to be missed.  While it’s length qualify the track as a super speedway it’s tri-corner layout make it special track for Indy car betting fans and drivers alike.

For many of the bet on Indy car drivers it’s one of the rare occasions that they’ll ever drive on such a layout. The tri-oval is a distinctly American design seen much more in NASCAR than in Indy car betting and for foreign drivers racing in the Indy car betting competition, it’s a unique experience -and with plenty of banking on the wide turns, fast speeds are guaranteed for bet on Indy car fans.

Since the events Indy car betting debut in 2000 there has been a variety of drivers to claim success in the Indy car betting. Sam Hornish Jr. and Buddy Lazier are the only two-winner here. Hornish especially seems to have the tri-oval figured out, with his most recent Indy car betting win in Kentucky in 2006.

Last year’s winner in the Indy car betting competition, Tony Kanaan, can race on any surface and should also be considered one the top contenders to take the Indy car betting checkered flag. But with the merging of the CART and IRL at the beginning of the season there could be some unknown Indy car betting hero to emerge from the pack and take the win this year.
