At the onset of this event was the moniker of Dixie 300 in 1960. Jimmie Johnson is in a four-way tie with the most career wins at four. He last won this Atlanta race in 2016. Late on Brad Keselowski has won in both 2019 and 2017. Kevin Harvick was the sportsbook winner of 2018. Atlanta Motor Speedway was opened in 1960. Next in the standings are Martin Truex Jr., Denny Hamlin, and Ryan Blaney. Completing the top ten are Kyle and Kurt Busch. Neither Busch brother has won a race in 2020. Embracing improvement is Kurt finishing in the top seven three straight races. Kyle has finished fourth or better in three of his last four runs.

Top Atlanta Drivers

Seven-time champion Jimmie Johnson is 15th in the standings but has shown improvement over last year. Specifically, Atlanta Motor Speedway has been one of his best tracks. Johnson has five wins, 14 top five, and 16 top-ten finishes. Also, he has an impressive average finish of 12.0.

Speaking of the Busch brothers they both have strong records in Atlanta. Kyle Busch has 212 starts with two wins, five top-five, and eight top-ten finishes. Kyle’s average finish is 13.8. In like matter, Kurt has 28 starts with three wins, seven top-five, and 14 top-ten finishes. Kurt has an average finish of 14.9.

In sum, Kyle Busch is long overdue for his first 2020 win.
