Ferrari the F1 Betting team to beat at SBG Global

F1 betting season is just around the corner and auto racing betting fans can hardly stand the excitement.

After a long winter break the F1 betting teams have been testing like mad trying to get ready for the season ahead. Many of the F1 betting teams are still in tact from last year but there are also plenty of changes in the driver lineups for this auto racing betting season.

F1 betting is always an eventful affair, but when the drivers are mixed up and redistributed to a different team on an almost yearly basis it makes the F1 betting even more exciting. This year the team to beat looks to be Ferrari. Last year this was the second best team in F1 betting and although Kimi Raikonnen took home the drivers cup the team trailed McLaren by a significant margin in the constructor cup chase.

Ferrari’s car disappointed most Formula 1 betting fans last season and it was the first time in nearly a decade that Ferrari was not the top car on track by quite a wide margin.

But the Ferraris were just a step behind the McLarens and some of that lag may have had to do with bad luck and driving rather than the car itself. But this year McLaren with be without its top driver last year, two times F1 betting champ Fernando Alonso.

After a feud with the team boss Alonso was released from his contract and is now back with Renault, the team that he won both his F1 betting titles with. While his departure makes Renault an instant contender for the top billing in auto racing betting’s greatest league, it greatly diminishes McLaren’s fire power.

But McLaren is hardly out of the F1 betting battle. It’s top driver this season, the young Lewis Hamilton, barely missed out on the F1 betting title last year and many auto racing betting experts believe he has the fastest car heading into the season. Judging by past performance and F1 betting reports McLaren and Renault should both challenge for the F1 betting title in 2008.

But Ferrari looks to be in the drivers’ seat as the team seems to have the best combination of drivers and cars in all of F1 betting. The team’s number two driver, Felipe Massa, was among the leaders of F1 betting in the wins column last year and should win plenty of races this season as well. Expect Ferrari to have a big year in F1 betting.
