NASCAR betting odds experts all expected big things from Hendrick Motor Sports this year. With three of the top names in all of NASCAR odds Hendrick looked on the verge of a dynasty. Yet even with the addition of autoracing betting odds legend Dale Earnhardt Jr., this team has failed to impress and has at times even looked dismal against the autoracing betting odds.

And after a quick start to the season it looked as though they were right. Every thing seemed to falling into place just as the autoracing betting odds analysts had suggested. Yet, since the running of the Daytona 500, with the exception of some exciting moments in autoracing odds events provided by Jr., the Hendrick team has done very poorly.
The Daytona 500 was actually an accurate metaphor for the team’s autoracing betting odds performance. After getting off to a great start with Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and Jr. all running among the leaders early on, Gordon dropped out with car troubles, Johnson was spun out and Earnhardt’s pit strategy faltered at the end of the NASCAR betting odds event and the team placed only driver in the top ten in the NASCAR odds.
Jr. got off to another great start in the recent autoracing betting odds event, the Kobalt Tools 500, but after the 62nd lap his car seemed to fall apart. Johnson has also had some great moments, at least in the autoracing betting odds qualifying, claiming three NASCAR odds poles this season. Gordon also grabbed the pole in the last autoracing betting odds event, but none of it has led to a win.
And perhaps more disturbing for NASCAR betting odds fans is the fact that only one of the Hendrick’s drivers is ranked in the top 12 -very disappointing considering all the NASCAR odds hype surrounding this team. The NASCAR betting odds season is still quite young and anything can still happen. But through the first seven events of the year Hendrick drivers have been the most disappointing in NASCAR betting odds.
