Two races are done in the Chase for Nextel Cup and the NASCAR Chase standings are tight. The drivers head to the Kansas Speedway for the third race in the 10 race Chase for the Cup. Jeff Gordon continues to lead the Chase Standings but his lead is small. Five drivers are within 18 points of his lead in the NASCAR chase.

During the Auto racing betting season, Gordon has done well at Kansas winning the first two races at the track. He has four top-10s in six starts.
