Kyle Busch continues to lead the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series standings and has six wins in 2018.  Following in second place is Kevin Harvick and his seven wins on the year.  Defending champion Martin Truex Jr is in third place with four wins.  Against the “Big Three” is charging Kurt Busch, fresh off a win at Bristol.  Kyle Busch’s older brother is now fourth in the standings.  In like manner the Busch brothers have both won a Cup championship.

Jimmie Johnson

Meanwhile seven-time MENCS champion Jimmie Johnson wallows in 14th place.  Supplementing Johnson’s misery has been the struggles of Chevrolet for 2018.  At length has been the Camaro’s struggle, especially with aero packages.

Matchup to Watch

Comparable to the rest public betting on NASCAR money is heavy on the “Big Three.”  More emphatically Hamlin makes for a strong contrarian selection with merit.  After all Darlington is his best track.
