First with Michael Schumacher with seven Formula One championships is Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton drives for Mercedes. He holds F1 records for most wins (103), pole positions (104), and podium finishes (196). Late on, he has been passed over by Verstappen. But Hamilton remains a revered name in F1. To show. Correlate that Hamilton won the championship four consecutive years (2017-2020).
Counter to the finesse and technology of Formula One, NASCAR is much more about bumping, grinding, and dirty racing. Those characteristics are what make it so popular with fans and gamblers. Additionally, there is greater parity in NASCAR. That parity makes for a challenging handicap and wagering action.
On the whole, NASCAR is going through a transformation with a new breed of younger drivers emerging. There have been four different winners of the NASCAR Cup from 2019-2022. Since the retirement of Jimmie Johnson (7 career titles), the NASCAR series has become a crapshoot.
