Thompson was on a roll, winning seven straight fights, only two of which went beyond the third round, until he challenged Tyron Woodley twice for the UFC Welterweight Championship in late 2016 and early 2017. The first about was a majority draw at UFC 205 in New York, and the second Thompson lost by decision at UFC 209 in Las Vegas. Both matches went to five rounds.
Masvidal is 4-3 since returning to welterweight in 2015, including a three-fight winning streak from July 30, 2016 to January 28, 2017, highlighted by a TKO win over Donald Cerrone at UFC on Fox: Shevchenko vs. Peña in Denver Colorado which was deemed Performance of the Night. His last outing, however, was unsuccessful; a losing effort to Demian Maia at UFC 211 on May 13 in Dallas, Texas which went to three rounds.

Hendricks has lost three of his last four fights, and has missed weight in three of his last four fights. If Dana decided to create a Catchweight division, Big Rigg would certainly be the inaugural champion – only to lose the title in his first defense. Eh, at least he wouldn’t miss weight.
Paulo Henrique Costa is, unsurprisingly, being undefeated in 10 career fights, including his first two in the UFC, both TKO wins, over Garreth McLellan in the first round at UFC Fight Night: Belfort vs. Gastelum on March 11, and over Oluwale Bamgbose in the second at UFC 212 on June 3 (his only bout to go beyond the first round), favored by people who bet on UFC at a sportsbook online. This will be his first fight outside of his native Brazil.
James Vick vs. Joseph Duffy UFC betting preview
Vick bounced back from his first career loss, a knockout to Beneil Dariush in the first round at UFC 199 on June 4, 2016 in Inglewood, California, with back-to-back wins, a submission over Abel Trujillo in the third at UFC Fight Night: Bermudez vs. Korean Zombie on February 4 in Houston and a TKO over Marco Polo Reyes in the first round at UFC 211 on May 13 in Dallas.
Duffy bounced back from his second career loss, a unanimous decision to Dustin Poirier in the third at UFC 195 on January 2, 2016 in Las Vegas, with back-to-back wins, a submission over Mitch Clarke at UFC Fight Night: dos Anjos vs. Alvarez on July 7, 2016 in 25 seconds of the first round in Las Vegas, and a UD over Reza Madadi in three rounds at UFC Fight Night: Manuwa vs. Anderson on March 18 in London.
