The Angels had won 12 of the last 20 against the A’s in MLB betting before this series began. The teams met last month in Oakland and split a four-game series. The Angels are still in the American League West race while the A’s are starting to fall out of it. The Texas Rangers lead the division and they could be difficult to beat. The A’s really don’t have much of a shot but the Angels could still make a run if they get some pitching. So far this season the Angels starting pitching have not gotten the job done. They are well below average in team ERA. If not for their offense, the Angels would already be out of the race. Los Angeles is 10th in the league in runs scored.

Their pitching is pretty good as they are 7th in the league in ERA but they don’t score enough runs. The A’s are pretty good at home though and that makes them a threat to win this game in baseball betting.
