The number would be even higher if not for a very talented Curlin who upset Street Sense and if Barbaro had not gotten hurt in 2006.
If you are going to take a shot against the favorite in the Preakness you do so with a risk since the favorite wins almost half the time in Preakness betting. That doesn’t mean you can’t take a shot, but you probably should put the favorite into some of your tickets.
