2016’s World Series MLB Betting Preview
Entering the 2016 MLB betting season, the top sportsbooks had the Chicago Cubs pegged as the favorites to win this year’s World Series. Several months down the line, the Cubs have failed to disappoint and are on their way to proving several preseason predictions true. Coming into the season, there were plenty of reasons to jump onto the Cubs bandwagon, but seeing Chicago pull through is still a momentous occasion. The Warriors may have the Splash Brothers, but the Dallas Mavericks have the Whiplash Brothers Andrew Bogut and Harrison Barnes – as in they probably had whiplash from how fast the Warriors tossed them aside to make salary cap room for Kevin Durant. They are part the Mavs’ reinforcements for this season, which will begin on Wednesday, October 26th when they visit the Indiana Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse (yo ho, a banker’s life for me). Spurs at Warriors: the postseason showdown we never got
Back in May, all basketball betting and non-betting fans were eagerly anticipating the NBA Western Conference Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and the Golden State Warriors – a clash of such epic proportions that it would have caused even the top sportsbooks to crash under the deluge of wagers placed.
