Also, this was the Patriots Coach Belichick's 21st win in postseason play as this win broke his tie with former Cowboys coach Tom Landry and tied Dolphins Don Shula for coaches having the most Super Bowl appearances.

National Beats American Team in 2015 NFLP Collegiate Bowl

The National running back Watson of Division II Azusa Pacific had a 2 yard score and RB Fugate also has a short TD run in the game, the only 2 touchdowns for the game. The only other score was a FG for 3 points in the 2nd quarter. RB Watson finished the game with 55 rushing yards, a game high, and was chosen as the Most Valuable Player of the bowl game.
