Arkansas Razorbacks Shut Out Ole Miss Rebels
This past Saturday, the 22nd of November, in NCAA Week 13, the then No. 8 Ole Miss Rebels 7-3 (3rd in SEC West) were shut out and upset by the unranked Arkansas Razorbacks 5-5 (7th SEC West) by a score of 30-0. Raiders Upset Chiefs to Earn First Win in 368 Days
This past Thursday, the now 7-4 Chiefs were upset by the now 1-10 Raiders 24-20. Oakland QB Carr led the Raiders in the win over the Chiefs, as Oakland ended a 16 game losing streak with their first win of the 2014 season. The winning play for the Raiders came with 1:42 left in the game: QB Carr threw a 9 yard TD pass to get to 24-20; they prior to that TD were trailing 20-17. Thus, after 368 days and some 16 consecutive losses the team and fans finally had a reason to celebrate.
Kansas State Narrowly Wins Over West Virginia
This past Thursday, with the start of Week 13 in college football, we saw the now 8-2 KSU Wildcats (1st Big 12) outscore the now 6-5 West Virginia Mountaineers (6th Big 12). Wildcats QB Waters passed for over 400 yards as KSU won 26-20 over WVU, in a game played at the Milan Puskar Stadium, in Morgantown, West Virginia and seen on Fox Sports 1.
