Champ in women basketball betting at SBG Global

January 11th, 2021 WNBA Betting Odds

Women basketball betting enthusiasts can easily tell you who the current champ of the WNBA odds is. For other sports fans, perhaps not quite as familiar with the WNBA odds the correct answer is of course the Phoenix Mercury. But as the 2008 season rolls around the team will have its work cut out for it if hope to wear the tag of Champion of the WNBA action again this year.

Women basketball betting doesn’t get any more intense than the WNBA. The world WNBA odds is without a doubt the pinnacle of the women’s game in terms of competition and skill. So to win the WNBA Finals is quite an achievement, nearly insurmountable in terms of basketball betting, unless of course the Olympics are factored in. In 2007 the stars aligned just right and a very talented Phoenix Mercury captured the WNBA title much to the surprise of many  basketball betting fans.

But basketball betting is highly unpredictable and anything can happen as the Mercury squad shoed the world last year. This year the Mercury will set out to defend their basketball betting title with the same roster intact. While other teams in the WNBA odds went and grabbed players to strengthen their chances in the basketball betting, the Mercury were happy to stay the same. After taking the hugely talented Cappie Pondexter last year the roster is loaded for the 2008 basketball betting season.

One change that was made however was on the bench, where Paul Westphal departed and Corey Gains entered. Westphal is a talented coach, but Gaines knows the world of women basketball betting competition and should be able to pick up where the team left off last season.

Star players like reigning Finals MVP Pondexter and Diane Taurasi will once again lead the team as one of the best one-two punches in all of women basketball betting. The Western Conference will be a challenge as always, but if the Mercury can get to the Finals once again, there’s no reason why they couldn’t retain the title of the best in women basketball betting.
