US Open Tennis Betting: Will We See an All Williams Final. If you bet on the US Open event it’s hard not to root for this pair of unlikely champions and they remain two of the most popular female athletes in the online sportsbook world. In a world where male athletes often overshadow the accomplishments of the women, the Williams’ and their tremendous success in the US Open tennis have gone along way in striking a blow against that unfair double standard. US Open tennis aficionados love watching these women play tennis. And for some reason there doesn’t seem to be any better place to enjoy the Williams and all their talent than at the center court of a bet on the US Open finals. It’s like watching Ruth at Yankee Stadium or Montana at Candlestick, the US Open tennis betting facilities are like the home court for the Williams and the ideal place for them to compete.

The most desired match up in the women’s side of the US Open tennis betting –and likely the entire bet on the US Open event- is two Williams in the final. Often a big ‘if’ in years past, this year it seems as if the Williams will waltz their way to the US Open tennis finals.

These two women are simply much better than every other woman on tour right now and it would be a huge surprise if fans looking to bet on the US Open weren’t wagering on an all Williams final. The strange thing is, despite being head and shoulders above the rest of the competition in this year’s US Open tennis action neither is ranked number one in the world. Even with a win in the 2009 US Open tennis, neither will be number one due to the number of tournaments they play.

Serena, ranked number 2 in the world, has to be the favorite to win the US Open tennis after shellacking big sis Venus on grass at Wimbledon. Venus, the world’s number three player, will likely be playing in the other side of the US Open tennis bracket which will ensure the possibility of an All-Williams final. Serena will likely be the number one seed and Venus the three seed.

Serena has three US Open tennis titles, Venus has two. It’s hard to say who would win in a 2009 finals, but it seems as though it will take an act of God to prevent the Williams’ family from collecting a sixth trophy in the 2009 US Open tennis betting action.
