The Steelers lost a tough road game to Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos, 31-19. Denver held a 334-284 edge in offensive yards, and held the ball for nearly 10 more minutes than Pittsburgh. QB Ben Roethlisberger was unimpressive, throwing 22-of-40, for 245 yards, but also 2 touchdowns, and 5 sacks. WR Antonio Brown received for 74 yards on 4 catches, but there were few bright spots for the Steelers. They were up 19-14 in the fourth quarter, but their defense collapsed, allowing the Broncos to score 17 points in the final period.
