Offshore Sportsbook: Buccaneers vs. Cowboys

Offshore Sportsbook: Buccaneers vs. Cowboys. Sunday afternoon football in Week 3 starts off with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking on the Dallas Cowboys. The game is scheduled to kick off at 1:00 PM ET in Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, TX. You can watch all of the action regionally on FOX.

The Buccaneers come into this game off a heartbreaking loss to the New York Giants, 41-34. In that one, the Bucs led most of the way, up 27-16 at the end of the third quarter, only to give up 25 points in the fourth. To be honest, it was a shock they did so well, as the Giants held a 604-307 edge in offensive yards. Bucs QB Josh Freeman had a decent game, throwing 15-of-28 for 243 yards and 2 touchdowns, while WR Vincent Jackson ran for 128 yards on 5 catches for a touchdown of his own.  Check the Offshore Sportsbook Lines for Buccaneers vs. Cowboys Game.

The Cowboys also suffered a defeat in Week 2, going down 27-7 to the Seattle Seahawks. Dallas could manage just 1 sustained touchdown drive all game, and were down 10-0 within the first 4:37 of the first quarter off of a fumble and blocked punt. QB Tony Romo had a decent game, going 23-of-40 for 251 yards and the team’s only touchdown, but it wasn’t nearly enough for the Cowboys. Romo is 43-of-69 so far this year.

The underdog is 20-4-1 ATS lately in Dallas games. The Cowboys themselves are 1-1 ATS this season, and 0-1 ATS when favored. The Bucs are 7-0 ATS as underdogs after scoring more than 27 points in the previous game. They are 2-0 ATS on the year, 2-0 ATS as the dog, and 1-0 ATS on the road.

These two teams have met four times since 2001, with the Cowboys leading 4-2. In a December 2011 matchup, Dallas won 31-15, a game in which they were favored by 7 points. In a September 2009 game, the Cowboys won 34-21 when they were the 5 ½ point favorites.

The Cowboys are 7 point home favorites in SBG’s football odds for Sunday’s game. The over/under is set at 46 ½ points.
