Suns Online Sports Betting Odds Figure to Change

The online sports betting odds on the Phoenix Suns could look different next season as the Suns will have a new general manager and they may have a different looking roster. The Suns were very good this past season vs. offshore sports betting NBA odds until the playoffs but that may not be the case next year.

Online sports betting odds favored the Suns quite a bit this past season and Phoenix rewarded bettors as they went 48-33-1 against the point spread. Phoenix might not have a much success next season as they will be have a new general manager as Steve Kerr has decided to leave.  Kerr was the president of basketball operations and the general manager. He has been the GM with Phoenix for the past three years and Phoenix has done well under his tenure.  Kerr will be returning to his role as a TV analyst and the Suns might be returning to mediocrity.

The Suns went 52-28 this past season but without Kerr as general manager and possibly without free agent Amare Stoudemire, the Suns could be in serious trouble next season.  The Suns don’t look to be a team that is willing to spend money in the off-season so they could lose both Stoudemire and Channing Frye.  They also have older players like Steve Nash and Grant Hill who have seen their best days.

Kerr is expected to remain as general manager through the end of the month. That may help the Suns since the NBA Draft is just over a week away.  Kerr will still keep his ownership interest in the team.  The Suns will begin to look at candidates to replace him including those already on staff.

The Suns were a surprise team in the NBA this past season as they were not expected to compete for the top spot in the Western Conference.  Phoenix did very well though with their older roster vs. the offshore sports betting NBA odds and they made a run at the Lakers in the West.  It might be tough to repeat that success next season if the team loses Stoudemire as expected.  Losing Kerr doesn’t help either as he did a nice job as general manager in his three years with the team
