Sports Betting – Will Wake Forest Make Unpleasant History?  The Wake Forest Demon Deacons could make some very ugly sports betting history this season in college basketball.  There has never been an ACC team that has gone 0-16 in conference play.  The way that Wake Forest has played this online sports betting season they could be the first team to go winless in ACC play.

11 Losses to Go
The Demon Deacons are 0-5 in the ACC after a blowout loss to Duke on Saturday.  They have 11 more chances to avoid a winless season in the ACC.  You may already have forgotten that Wake Forest made the NCAA Tournament a year ago and actually beat Texas.  They look nothing like a quality team this season against the college hoops odds at the Sbg global sportsbook. Wake Forest is 275th in the country in scoring. It is hard to believe there are actually that many teams on the board but there are actually just over 300 college hoops teams.  Wake Forest is definitely among the worst scoring teams in the country and that is why they are winless in the ACC this season.

Chennault returns
The one positive for Wake Forest is the return of freshman point guard Tony Chennault to the lineup. He suffered a broken bone in his left foot in the season opener and was out until this past week.  He is their only true point guard and has been missed.  Whether his return is enough to get the Demon Deacons a win is another story.

Upcoming Schedule
Wake Forest does not play again until Saturday when they host Virginia. That game may be their best chance to win a conference game.  Wake Forest needs to win that game because they are unlikely to win road games at Florida State and at Maryland. They will then host Miami of Florida and NC State and neither of those games is an easy sports betting win. They will lose at North Carolina and then have tough home games vs. Florida State and Virginia Tech.  They will likely lose both of those and at Clemson.  They then finish the season with a home game against Georgia Tech and at Boston College.  Wake really needs to win on Saturday against Virginia because there are not any easy games remaining.
