Online Sports Betting – Ogilvy Favored in Tournament of Champions.  The first golf tournament of the year is this weekend and online sports betting oddsmakers can’t favor Tiger Woods because he isn’t in the event.  It is a tournament for only winners and Woods didn’t win a tournament last year.  Geoff Ogilvy is the slight favorite in sports betting golf odds at Sbg global.

Geoff Ogilvy 8-1
He is the two-time defending champion at the Plantation Course. He led the field in putting in both of his wins at Kapalua.

Ernie Els 9-1
Right behind Ogilvy on the odds board is Els and he might be the better pick.  An Els loves playing in Hawaii and he is coming off a win at the South African Open Championship.  He has been in the top six five times in Maui.

Jim Furyk 10-1
He is the reigning FedExCup champion and at the Plantation Course he has seven top 10s in nine starts, including a win in 2001.

Graeme McDowell 10-1
He is ranked fifth in the world and proved in the Chevron World Challenge that he can beat anyone.  This will be his first time playing in this event.

Steve Stricker 14-1
He tied for 10th in this tournament last year and he lost in a playoff in 2008.  He always seems to be in the hunt in every tournament.

Dustin Johnson 14-1
Finished fifth in last year’s FedExCup standings but he still needs to find a way to finish off tournaments.

Ian Poulter 16-1
He may be overvalued with these odds.  Why is he going to show up early in the season with his A-game?

Hunter Mahan 18-1
He tied for fifth in this event in 2008 and can’t totally be ruled out.

Matt Kuchar 20-1
Last year he finished third in this event.  He was first on the PGA Tour last year in earnings and is a serious threat to win at nice odds.

Adam Scott 20-1
He has played very well in three of his four career starts in this event.  He won in Singapore a couple of months ago and is capable of playing well here.

Long shot
There is no way that Tim Clark should have odds of 32-1.  He has seven straight Top 25 finishes and is coming off a second place finish at the Nedbank Golf Challenge. He is worth a long shot bet in online sports betting.
