Offshore Wagering Update: Lakers Celebrate 16th NBA Championship
So often big games are overhyped, blown out of proportion or the teams fall flat and anyone that made a bet win the online wagering companies walks away mostly disappointed.
Not this year. Not in this basketball betting series.
Game 7 was an exciting, emotional and hard played game that offered sports betting fans a glimpse of what NBA playoff basketball could be if the referees would call an honest game every game –not just in a Game 7 of the NBA Finals betting action when they needn’t worry about extending the series or making sure the right team advances to the next round of the NBA playoff betting action.
But petty grumblings aside, Game 7 was arguably the best basketball game that offshore betting fans have been treated to in years. And even better, at the end of 48 minutes there was a new NBA betting champion crowned: the LA Lakers.
Boston got off to a terrific start and shut down the Lakers for the first half of basketball by playing terrific defense. Kobe Bryant was awful through the first 2 quarters and the Celtics were in complete control at halftime…except in the rebounding department.
Throughout this NBA betting series the team that won the battle of boards won the game and Game 7 proved no different as the Lakers continued to dominate the glass after the half and finally found their shooting touch.
When it was all said and done and the online wagering companies had all cleared their betting boards, the Lakers had defeated the Celtics 83-79 and claimed their second straight NBA betting title.
Bryant finally found his stroke in the second half finishing the game with 23 points, but overall shot just 6-24 (0-6 from three-point range). But the real difference in Game 7 was the battle of the boards, and LA’s success in this department won them the NBA Finals betting series.
Congrats to the Lakers (and the Celtics) on a NBA Finals betting series well played.
