Online gambling odds should be very competitive on the Copa Libertadores final with the home team in each leg being favored. Internacional was able to get through to the final by winning on away goals against Sao Paulo. They actually lost the second leg 2-1 but they had won the first leg 1-0. Sao Paulo was looking good in the second leg when Alex Silva scored in the 31st minute to give them a 1-0 lead. Alecsandro tied it for Inter in the 52nd minute but just moments later it was Ricardo Oliveira putting Sao Paulo back in front. Sao Paulo could not get the other goal they needed though and Internacional advanced. It was a big win for Internacional since they now get a place in the Club World Cup in December in Abu Dhabi. The away goal from Alecsandro was the key for Internacional. It was not easy for them though as with 12 minutes to go, Tinga was sent off so they were down to 10 men. Sao Paulo could not get the goal they needed though even with the man advantage.
Guadalajara beat Universidad de Chile 3-1 on aggregate in the other semifinal. Guadalajara will be playing in their first Copa Libertadores final thanks to a 2-0 win over Universidad de Chile in the second leg. The two played to a 1-1 draw in the first leg. Guadalajara got goals from Xavier Baez and Jonny Magallon in the 2-0 shutout. Baez scored in the 22nd minute when Universidad goalkeeper Miguel Pinto let a shot get past him. Universidad nearly tied it but got no luck as Juan Manuel Olivera hit the crossbar while Rafael Olarra hit the post. Magallon scored the second goal for Guadalajara and the match was basically over.
Guadalajara will host Internacional in the first match of the two-leg final. Internet gambling companies will have odds on the board for that match that will be on Wednesday in Mexico and they will have odds on the return leg scheduled for one week later in Porto Alegre.
