Early Favorites in College Basketball Internet Betting. Defending national champion Duke is one of the favorites in Internet betting to win the title in 2010-2011. The Blue Devils return Kyle Singler and Nolan Smith so they are going to be favored in most games next season. The Blue Devils are not the only team that returns some talent though as Purdue returns as much or more and the Boilermakers could end up the top team in online betting next season.

Internet betting odds will likely list Duke as the favorite with Purdue and Michigan State the next two teams on the odds board.  The Blue Devils will have a new backcourt but it could be a good one with transfer Seth Curry and freshman Kyrie Irving.  Duke will be favored to win two straight titles for the second time in their history. They did it back in 1991 and in 1992.  Florida is the only other team this century to win back-to-back titles as they won in 2006 and in 2007.

If a team is to upset Duke and take over the top spot in Internet betting it is likely to be Purdue. The Boilermakers got great news this week when JaJuan Johnson and E’Twaun Moore decided to return for their senior seasons. They will join Robbie Hummel to give Purdue the best trio in the country.  The problem for Purdue is that two other top 10 teams reside in their conference. Michigan State is loaded with everyone coming back except Raymar Morgan. Kalin Lucas is back and the Spartans are capable of making the Final Four again. Ohio State is the other team in the Big 10 that could be a team to watch in Internet betting.  They do lose Evan Turner but they have an unbelievable recruiting class coming in. Plus they return David Lighty, Jon Diebler and William Buford.  The Big 10 is simply loaded with talented teams.

Kansas State was one of the best teams in the country last season and they could be even better this year in online betting.  They return Jacob Pullen and a lot of players they can rotate into the lineup.  They should battle it out with Baylor for the honor of top team in the Big 12. The Bears have a super freshman in Perry Jones and they return more talent than any other team in the conference.

The Big East Conference is also loaded with quality teams and in 2010-2011 Internet betting the conference should be led by Pittsburgh and Villanova.
