Spurs at Kings Betting Odds for Wednesday Night

Now that the NBA 2015-16 Regular Season 2nd half is well underway tonight, Wednesday the 24th of Feb. 2016 we have a match-up that basketball fans should enjoy that brings us the 47-9 San Antonio Spurs (2nd Western Conference) playing at the 24-31 Sacramento Kings (10 Western Conference) with the game being played at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California with the tip-off scheduled for 10:40 PM ET from the West Coast and seen on ESPN TV.

If you Bet on NBA the early gambling odds are favoring the San Antonio Spurs at -7 with the Over/under at 216 ½ and -320 on the Money Line, while the Sacramento Kings are the underdogs at +7 and -320 on the Money Line.

The Spurs continue to win despite their All-Star player K. Leonard has not been in their starting line-up. Now tonight they will face the Kings who are coming off a big victory this past Tuesday night with the Nuggets. So fans are asking can the Spurs continue winning without their star or will the Kings get a win in time to continue seeking a playoff spot.

For the fans of the 47-9 San Antonio Spurs you know your team beat the Suns of Phoenix on Sunday night 118-112 and that was their season’s 47th win. Their T. Parkers led the team scoring with 22 points while L. Aldridge pulled of a double-double as he had 10 rebounds and scored 19 points as the Spurs barley beat the Suns. That was the 3rd game that the Spurs played without their star Leonard who is out with a calf injury.

In the absence of Leonard the Spurs P. Mills came forward and scored 21 points and 18 of the points came from 3-point range, another words he completed 6 3-pointers. If Leonard does not play tonight then Mills performance will be critical for a Spurs win, as the team needs more offense since their defense has struggled as of late.

The ultimate 5 wins by the Spurs have all been by less than 10 points in each game and those games were against the Lakers 2 times, Suns, Magic and Heat. But remember in between those wins they had a crazy 19 point loss to the Clippers.

But we must remember that the Spurs have the league’s best scoring defense as they are only allowing 92.6 points each game to date. Plus their differential of plus -12.3 points still tops in the NBA, but their latest loss could change that. This game however will give the Spurs a chance to get back on their winning track as in their ultimate 20 games with the Kings they have won 18 of those game.

If you’re a fan of the 24-31 Sacramento Kings you know your team almost blew their 17 point lead last night playing the Nuggets but still managed to get the 114-110 victory which now gives them 3 straight wins.

It wasn’t a surprise to the fans that their star in that game was D. Cousins who had a great performance scoring some 39 points which gave him his 20th game this season scoring 30 points in those games. He also in the game had 9 rebounds, and that win put the Kings only 4 ½ games back of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference which the Kings would love to conquer.

A big part of the Sacramento season has been about their star Cousins, but in their past game several other players showed up, and in this game with the Spurs they will all need to contribute so the team can continue winning as they would like to make the post season which would be the 1st time in the last ten years.

Their R. Gay had a double-double with 10 rebounds and 17 points, while O. Casspi had 9 rebounds and 15 points to add to Cousins remarkable play. All together the Kings made 51.9 percent of the shots from the field, and need another similar performance tonight against the Spurs and their stiff defense.

Most fans know the Spurs have owned Sacramento for many seasons, but the Sactown players come into this game with a lot of confidence, especially at home. In their ultimate 10 games at home they are 6-4 with 2 of the 4 losses coming against the NBA playoff stars in the Bulls and the Warriors.

The prediction from the online sportsbook for this NBA game is that the Spurs prove too much for the struggling Sacramento Kings and San Antonio wins the game by 15 points at 111-96.
