Trent Edwards Back as Bills Starter NFL Betting Lines

NFL betting lines have the Buffalo Bills as underdogs this week as they face the Tennessee Titans, even with starting quarterback Trent Edwards back under center. Edwards has missed the last three games but he will be the starter as the Bills face the Titans in football odds on Sunday.

NFL betting lines have the Bills almost a touchdown underdog at Tennessee this week.  The Bills didn’t get good news on Wednesday as wide receiver Terrell Owens missed practice but Owens has not made much of an impact in NFL betting lines this season anyway, so perhaps that is not bad news. “So right now it’s pretty uncomfortable. We’re kind of hoping it goes away as quickly as it came,” Jauron said about Owens’ injury. “That’s our hope. We really won’t know any more until we see how he feels tomorrow.” Trent Edwards

The big football odds news though is that Edwards is back at quarterback for the Bills. Edwards was hurt after the Bills started 1-4. Backup Ryan Fitzpatrick led the team to two wins in NFL betting lines but the offense was still struggling. The Bills are 3-5 straight up this season and 4-4 against the NFL betting lines. Their offense ranks 29th in the league in terms of total yards as NFL betting lines stats show while their defense isn’t much better, ranking 28th as NFL betting lines stats have it.  Edwards should improve the Buffalo offense and their chances versus the NFL betting lines.  “I feel good I’ve been getting better all along and I’m excited for Sunday,” said Edwards, “I’ve been preparing ever since I got hurt. I’ve been trying to get back in there and trying to help this team win by getting healthy and doing everything I can. And now I’m back at that point.”

This is really a key game in football odds for Buffalo is they want to even pretend they have a chance at making the playoffs. If the Bills get a win in NFL betting lines it would get them within a game of .500. They then at least have games they should be competitive in and have a chance to win in NFL betting lines. They face Jacksonville, Miami, the Jets and Kansas City in football odds before facing their last three NFL betting lines games which are going to be tough against New England, Atlanta and Indianapolis.
