At first glance, although almost every single team saw their NFL football betting odds impacted some way or the other, there isn’t really that much of a surprising change that rocked the NFL Football betting world. If anything the draft left a lot of teams looking less strong in the eyes of the bookmakers.

Substantially of the teams with the first five picks, the Chargers and the Cowboys appear to be the ones with the biggest impact as their odds dropped, and they appear to have drafted smarter than the rest.

Also, a very interesting case that stands out over the rest, are the New England Patriots.  The original list of odds was reported a couple of days before it was announced that Tom Brady was going to be suspended for four games due to deflategate. At the time the odds did not change, up until after the draft. This off the field turmoil resulted in the Pats going from +755 to +805, but they are still the favorite team to win the Super Bowl. However it is worth pointing out that the Seattle Seahawks also saw their odds affected after the Brady situation and the NFL draft as they went from +955 to +855, with the gap close between these two teams.

What’s next on the NFL is for the teams to hit their training camps and the NFL Betting odds might see some changes then. As we approach the beginning of the preseason games we are going to revisit these odds and check the trends of what’s going on.
